Kaoslabs – High-intensity AI video and visual experiments
This is my small personal sandbox where I experiment with Linux, self-hosting, and generative AI tools. I use this space to test new ideas and different setups on my VPS. Recently, I’ve been focusing on AI-generated video and visual art. I’ve put a lot of work into these experiments, so please don't just hit and run! I’d love for you to go through the AI stuff I’ve made and let me know what you think. Feedback or ideas for new experiments are more than welcome.

Visual inference exploration and experimentation playground2024 · github.com · ▲46Most inference UIs that I've come across pretty much just give us a chat-like interface to toy around with models in a single visual conversation thread. Given the fact that we are limited to seeing only one output at a time, it's kind of hard to compare outputs from different models, adjustments made to the prompting, and sampler settings. But even when keeping the generation parameters the same (e.g., to test for reliability in the output) and just going for multiple passes, there is no easy way to have a side-by-side comparison to keep track of the outputs from the multiple "rounds". I…
AvoSmash – AI video storytelling made easy2025 · avosmash.io · ▲12Hello HN - I found it hard to learn and use all these different AI tools in order to make a decent AI video, so I created AvoSmash to put these image/video/audio AIs into one studio and automate as much as possible, so that people like me can create video like a pro. Take a try with the free credits and let me know what you think!
Koubou2025 · koubou.app · ▲9Hey! I saw this post a few days ago on HN [1] about the new Nano Banana model and decided to play with it. It's incredible (Mostly for editing IMHO)! The thing is, Google AI Studio is great for chat... for images, the UI is not ideal. So I decided to make my own thing: an infinite canvas for AI image exploration. :) Right now it only supports Nano Banana, but the plan is to include OpenAI, Replicate, and fal.ai this week! Would love to hear any feedback. Feel free to propose changes as well! Github: https://github.com/za01br/koubou [1]…
ImagineToVideoNov 2025 · imaginetovideo.com · ▲7Hi Hacker Friends, I'm excited to share my new project, ImagineToVideo. My goal was to build an AI video generation tool that’s powerful enough for pros but simple enough for everyone. We're focused on making video creation straightforward and support three main modes: ● Text-to-Video ● Image-to-Video ● Template-driven Video To balance quality and cost, we've integrated a range of models. For high-end, cinematic results, we support top-tier models like VEO 3.1 and Sora 2. At the same time, we know those models can be expensive. To keep it accessible and reliable for more casual or…
Kinkora – A creative playground for experimenting with video modelsDec 2025 · kinkora.fun · ▲9Hi Indie Hackers We’re building Kinkora, a creative platform that brings multiple image and video AI models into one place for experimentation and creation. Like many builders, we found ourselves constantly switching tools just to test different models or creative directions. Each platform felt limited to a single workflow or use case. So we decided to build a space that’s more modular, exploratory, and creator-first. Kinkora focuses on: Supporting popular generative models Making experimentation fast and enjoyable Laying the foundation for a creative community, not just a generator Our…
PixelDojo2024 · pixeldojo.ai · ▲17Hello HN! I’m excited to share PixelDojo.ai, an all-in-one generative AI studio for creators. I built PixelDojo to be a one-stop platform where you can generate images, create short videos, and even train custom AI models (LoRA fine-tunes) from your own images. The idea came about because the AI creative process felt fragmented. 10 months ago I set off on a journey to create the ultimate AI playground. A place where cutting-edge image-generation tools are easily accessible. My goal was to bring all the latest AI creativity tools under one roof so that anyone, even a “noob” with no prior…

With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
