An Alternative of Chai and C.AI made by a single Developer
Klie launched on June 22, 2026 with 2 votes.
What it does
Klie was created to offer more privacy, more security, and above all, a lower price for users compared to other companies. We obviously add features that others don't have and solve problems that arise during conversations between a character and the user. RevTech and Klie were created by a single developer, and we released the front end on GitHub. We manage to fix bugs within a week and listen to the community's suggestions. It's Available for: Android and MacOS Silicon/Intel
Rev Tech introduces Klie, a local-first AI product built for privacy, simpler pricing, and native desktop use.
A private AI companion that runs on your own device, powered by our Brainy T1 model. No cloud, no tracking, no waiting lines. Native: macOS & Android · On the web: iOS, iPadOS, Windows, Linux · v1.1.1 Klie executes entirely on your local machine. Chat, search your files, and work through drafts even at 30,000 feet, no connection required. No network round-trip means no spinner. Answers start the moment you need them, even mid-brainstorm. Conversations, documents, and settings stay sandboxed on your drive. There are no servers storing your logs, there is nothing to leak. The private AI companion. Offline, on your device, version 1.1.1. Tell us what you wish existed. We evaluate it honestly…from revtechcompany.com

Kodosumi2025 · kodosumi.io · ▲167Hi Hacker News, I’m part of the team behind Kodosumi. We built it because deploying agentic services in production was much harder than building proof-of-concepts. Many frameworks let you build agents, but when you want them to run long tasks, scale across machines, or be observed/monitored reliably, things fall apart. Kodosumi is our answer to that. It’s an open-source runtime that uses Ray + FastAPI + Litestar to let you: Deploy “agents” and “flows” and expose APIs easily, with minimal config (just one YAML) Scale horizontally for bursty workloads and long-running tasks without losing…

Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
