Live 3D satellite tracker and the declassified Pentagon UFO archive
SkyLens is a live satellite tracker and declassified UAP evidence hub. Real-time 3D map of thousands of orbiting satellites, 375 UAP case files from official government releases, NASA asteroid approaches, and daily space news. Free, no signup.
In plain words
SkyLens is a free satellite tracking platform that displays a live 3D map of thousands of orbiting satellites, rockets, and debris in real-time. It also serves as a repository of declassified government UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) case files, including 375 official reports, Navy videos, CIA documents, and witness interviews spanning from 1947 to 2026. The platform additionally provides NASA asteroid approach data and daily space news. No signup is required to access the tool.

Right now, thousands of satellites, rockets and debris are passing over your head — SkyLens tracks every one live. Next to them: the complete archive of declassified government UAP files the sky still can't explain. The fifth PURSUE batch — 16 Navy videos plus documents and renderings — spans 1947 to 2026. Highlights: a six-clip Gulf of Oman 2021 Navy series (with its intelligence report), a five-clip Pacific Ocean 2019 series, FBI FD-302 witness interviews and digital renderings of triangular craft over Afghanistan (2002) and Colorado Springs (2023), a CIA report on a 1965 object near Puerto Rico, two 1963 State Department cables on the Bahia, Brazil incident, and a 1947 review of the…from skylens.yantraai.app

Sup HN, So I got tired of bouncing between Flightradar, MarineTraffic, and Twitter every time something kicked off globally, so I wrote a dashboard to aggregate it all locally. It’s called Shadowbroker. I’ll admit I leaned way too hard into the "movie hacker" aesthetic for the UI, but the actual pipeline underneath is real. It pulls commercial/military ADS-B, the AIS WebSocket stream (about 25,000+ ships), N2YO satellite telemetry, and GDELT conflict data into a single MapLibre instance. Getting this to run without melting my browser was the hardest part. I'm running this on a laptop…

This is a little hobby project that I hope you enjoy. You can see where the International Space Station is now, with live HD video from NASA, on a realistic 3D globe. The positions of the sun and moon are also accurate, though distances aren't to scale. The clouds are also near-realtime; I span that out into a separate project at https://clouds.matteason.co.uk, where the cloud images I create from EUMETSAT data are freely available. I've got more features almost ready to go, like the ability to turn off all UI, toggleable clouds and turning off the day/night cycle I'd love for…

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
