LivGiv - Be more than a Face in a Book

The time has come for us to move for greener pastures yet again. Our species migrated from Friendster to MySpace in 2003 and then to Facebook in 2005. Well, in 2009, Facebook turned to the Dark Side under the influence of Microsoft while locked in an epic war with Google. Many are still in denial and are suffering from Like Syndrome. The future of our species is at stake and Earth is getting hot and bothered about it too. LivGiv exists to restore sanity back to the Web and give power back to the biosphere.

    I created this chrome extension for myself where I track my own behavior locally and recommend myself content from platforms I want content from (youtube/twitter/quora/etc) in a feed. I made it public just in case anyone else was interested. I would rather have control over my own algorithm and own the data. Also, it gives me flexibility. Turns out I do like these feeds just not when I don't own it haha. Let me know what you think of my implementation?

    Hi guys, yesterday I launched a new book notification service called 'Any new books?': http://anynewbooks.com The idea is that you enter your email, subscribe to a few categories of your interest, and then you'll receive one weekly email per category with a list of new interesting books that were just released. The first day was pretty good I think, with many people signing up. Among these, I've already spotted a few key players in our industry (which I take to be a positive sign, of course) and the feedback I've been receiving by email has been very positive so far.     Last week I showed prldr.com, a small project I created during my weekends. The immediate thing I learned from the comments was that prldr had to be a RSS reader, which I already had in mind. So after another couple of days programming prldr.com is now a visual rss reader.
