What it does
MarzsAI is a chat app for iPhone. You type a question and it writes back. There is no account and no sign in. Your conversations are stored on your phone, not on a server. The only thing that leaves your device is the message itself, sent to a model provider to be answered. Built native in SwiftUI with iOS 26 Liquid Glass. In open beta on TestFlight now.

It is a chat app, and it answers questions the way you would expect. It also keeps things for you: your conversations, a short memory of what matters, your cars, your trips. Most chat apps are a front end for a model somebody else runs, and a front end has nowhere to keep any of that. Every thread is stored in a database on the device itself. There is no copy on our server and no account to sync one to. Deleting the app deletes them, and there is no way to get them back afterwards. Answering a question means sending that question out. Where your messages do go, below, says exactly where and what goes with them. The app keeps a short list of things worth remembering between conversations.…from marzsai.app

Hi HN. I poured months into making a mobile app called Codala, but sadly, it's getting practically zero downloads. I have no marketing budget at all. I'm starting to question if the app is just bad, but the core idea feels solid to me: you scan any QR code or barcode, and it opens up a space to chat, leave reviews, and discuss that specific product or place. I know the app needs users leaving comments to feel alive, but it's been 3 weeks and things are dead quiet. If you want to take a look, I’m totally open to any feedback or honesty.
