What it does

Compare mini PC prices and full specs—CPU, RAM, storage, GPU, and OS—in one sortable table. Filter by brand, condition, or any spec. Customize columns, save shortlists, and share links. Community-edited data keeps listings accurate. Prices refresh daily. Find budget boxes under $100 or gaming rigs with 16 GB RAM—all without jumping between retailer tabs. Always verify current price on the retailer page before purchasing.

Compare Mini PC prices and specs — CPU, RAM, Storage, GPU, and OS — in one sortable table sorted by price. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases, at no additional cost to you. This is a free mini PC price comparison table for anyone purchasing a mini computer. Instead of opening a dozen retailer tabs and copying specs into a spreadsheet, you get every listing in one sortable view — price, CPU, RAM, storage, GPU, and OS side by side. This is not a top-ten list or a deal feed. It is a full-parameter mini pc prices database. Each row is a real marketplace listing. Specs are collected from official product information and manually verified where it matters — RAM type, GPU…from minipcprice.com

I was inspired by this discussion https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=39066480 about diskprices.com last month, and decided to go ahead and make a site for RAM. It's my first time building anything like this! Any tips / suggestions / calls for complete overhaul are welcome :)

The overall idea is to chart out the thousands of Mini PCs by benchmark and reveal the Pareto Front so you can get the most Compute per Dollar. Definitely a labor of love as I have a number of Mini PCs for my "homelab" (TrueNAS, piHole, Plex, basic stuff). It uses Gemini to extract specs from listings (since they're not often strongly categorized). Quick blog post here: https://luke.zip/posts/pareto-pcs/

In the responses to Low Cost Mini PCs (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41389931), I saw some requests for a similar site but for laptops. I also added panel types and refresh rates, and sorted results by a weighted rating, which takes the number of reviews into account. Please let me know if you have any suggestions, thanks! P.S: you can sort by multiple columns using ctrl+click (thanks to…

  • Hey HN, We recently built Clipto. It’s a tool that lets you search over terabytes of video, audio, and images on your computer, without relying on the cloud. Motivation: we probably all had this similar experience, we know a moment exists in a video or audio, but finding it takes hours scrubbing the timeline. You can send all the media to process in the cloud, but it’s slow, expensive and raises privacy concerns. So we decided to build our own on-device media search engine. How it works (high level): 1. We ingest video, audio, image; normalize formats via ffmpeg; run content analysis to…

  • Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…
