Mobazha Decentralized Marketplace

Open, self-hostable commerce for independent stores

What it does

Mobazha is an open-source fork of OpenBazaar for selling products and skills without giving a central platform control of your store, identity, data, or customer relationships. Use Cloud Beta or run your own Node. Buyers can pay with supported crypto or fiat methods. Independent operators control their stores and data; Mobazha does not hold a central merchant balance or arbitrarily shut down self-hosted stores. Commerce rebuilt around privacy, ownership, and clear terms.

Create your own store in 30 seconds. Accept supported crypto payments. Self-host or choose managed services on clear terms.

Create a managed store or run the open-source Community software yourself. Keep your data portable and review applicable costs before you transact. Publish a branded market, carry one real order through, and see the same order attributed with an estimated operator share. Sign up, pick a name, and choose your currency. Done in 30 seconds — or self-host on your own server. List your products with photos, pricing, and shipping options. AI can help write descriptions. Your store opens as a Telegram Mini App . Drop the link in any chat, group, or channel — buyers check out without leaving the app. Start with the current Cloud Beta or run the open-source Community software yourself.…from mobazha.org

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
