MultiOpen
Open 150+ links as Safari tabs in one tap
What it does
MultiOpen is a Safari extension. Paste a block of text, tap once, and it opens the URLs it finds as Safari tabs. About 20 tabs open right away and the rest arrive in timed waves, so 150 or more links won't freeze Safari. It works the other way too: grab every open tab back into one list to save or share. Safari makes you switch the extension on once; the app shows how. iPhone, iPad and Mac, one purchase. No account, nothing collected. 7-day trial, then $0.99 a year or $2.99 once.

- IAI am building a Safari Web Extension to switch tabs efficiently2022 · taptab.manibatra.xyz · ▲30
I like the tab-switching behaviour in Chrome/Firefox and wanted Safari to have something similar. Another wish of mine was for it to be a web extension that feels native to the browser vs an app extension that looks out of place. After waiting long enough, I decided to build one myself. A little preview of Tap Tab - https://taptab.manibatra.xyz. The web extension APIs for managing tabs are pretty locked down in Safari, but I have already found a lot of value in using the extension. Some of the features that I find very useful(in the middle of building a few of these) : -…

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
