A modern RSS reader client for Miniflux built with React + Vite. docker compose up -d 📝 Configuration The app requires a Miniflux server to function. You'll need to provide: The app is primarily designed for desktop use. While it works on mobile devices, a native RSS reader app will provide a much better experience on the go. 💡 Tip : For a better native experience on mobile, consider using dedicated RSS reader apps like Reeder , Unread or Capy Reader . Contributions are welcome! Please feel free to submit a Pull Request. Do whatever the heck you want with it—just don’t come crying to me if it messes up your stuff. I built a tiny-VPS friendly RSS aggregator and reader2024 · github.com · ▲187Hi, folks. As an RSS user, I tried Inoreader and Feedly, then ended up self-hosting a Miniflux instance on my homelab. A few months ago, I moved to another city and had to shut down my homelab for a long time, so I couldn't access my local miniflux. It was quite inconvenient. I decided to self-host my RSS aggregator on a tiny VPS or PaaS such as fly.io. However, Miniflux requires a PostgreSQL database, which may isn't suitable for a tiny VPS instance. So I built fusion with Golang and SQLite. It contains basic features such as Group, Bookmark, Search, Automatically feeds sniffing,…

- MCMiniflux-CLI – offline-first Miniflux client2021 · ▲23
Hey Hacker News, miniflux-cli developer here. I use miniflux as primary source of things to read (including hacker news, of course), but in my case I don't have stable internet connection most of the time, so I did offline-first console client for miniflux, check it out: https://sr.ht/~xn/miniflux-cli/ It syncs all feeds and entries on start and after that you can read all the content offline (including "mark as read"/"mark as unread"). The project built on go, using bbolt db, tview and official miniflux api client. Some neat features - you can set text and…

A React and Next.js UI Toolkit for LLMs2024 · github.com · ▲24Hey HN, I wanted to share a UI toolkit project I’ve been working on recently, born out of how difficult I found it to build a great UX on top of LLMs, and keep application state in sync. I’ve built: - A React/JS front-end library for conversational interfaces, which makes it super easy to bootstrap AI assistants and ChatGPT style UX: https://github.com/nlkitai/nlux - A set of adapters that simplify integration with AI backends such as LangServe and HuggingFace The library is highly configurable, easy to theme, supports markdown streaming (that was tough to get…

Talanoa▲341Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

- TITetris in a PDF▲1,289
I realized that the PDF engines of modern desktop browsers (PDFium and PDF.js) support JavaScript with enough I/O primitives to make a basic game like Tetris. It was a bit tricky to find a union of features that work in both engines, but in the end it turns out that showing/hiding annotation "fields" works well to make monochrome pixels, and keyboard input can be achieved by typing in a text input box. All in all it's quite janky but a nice reminder of how general purpose PDF scripting can be. The linked PDF is all ASCII so you can just open it in a text editor, or have a look at…

21st.dev▲1,211I originally built this app to organize and reuse interesting React + Tailwind components I came across on Twitter, inspired by the shadcn/ui approach. Later, a friend started contributing their own components, and it got me thinking—this could grow into something bigger, like an NPM for design engineers to share and use components. Would love to hear your thoughts!
