What it does

The SLOC panel GitHub forgot. Know a repo's real size before you clone it. GitHub language bars are nice. Actual code size is better. Instant SLOC for any GitHub repo. Measure codebase complexity in seconds.

OctoCounts is a free SLOC counter for public GitHub repositories. It counts files, code lines, comments, blanks, and per-language totals without cloning: the backend downloads the repository source archive, runs tokei , and caches the result by commit SHA. • Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!
