In plain words
Syrup is an open-source browser extension designed as a transparent alternative to Honey, created to address concerns about affiliate practices in coupon-finding tools. The extension helps users find discounts while maintaining ethical standards and full code transparency. It is intended for users who want coupon functionality without compromising privacy or supporting questionable business practices. The project is community-driven and available on GitHub for review and contributions.
