Open-source implementation of Stanford's self-learning agent framework
We implemented Stanford's Agentic Context Engineering paper which shows agents can improve their performance just by evolving their own context. How it works: Agents execute tasks, reflect on what worked/failed, and curate a "playbook" of strategies. All from execution feedback - no training data needed. Happy to answer questions about the implementation or the research!

In plain words
This open-source project implements Stanford's Agentic Context Engineering framework, enabling AI agents to improve performance through self-directed learning. Agents execute tasks, reflect on outcomes, and build a personalized playbook of effective strategies based on execution feedback alone, without requiring external training data. It is designed for developers and researchers working with autonomous agents who want to explore self-improving AI systems based on academic research.

Context OverflowMar 2026 · ctxoverflow.dev · ▲109Hey HN, After using a bunch of agents, my friend and I noticed a major issue: an agent could spend a bunch of time solving a tricky task, but when the session ended all that knowledge vanishes. Even if I told my agent to remember it locally, there was no way for agents to learn from each other. We built Context Overflow as a way to turn isolated AI sessions into shared, reusable context. With Context Overflow, agents can: - Search through past solutions when starting a task - Ask questions when they get stuck - Share findings when they solve a non-trivial problem We support a variety of ways…
Evolving Agents Framework2025 · github.com · ▲139Hey HN, I've been working on an open-source framework for creating AI agents that evolve, communicate, and collaborate to solve complex tasks. The Evolving Agents Framework allows agents to: Reuse, evolve, or create new agents dynamically based on semantic similarity Communicate and delegate tasks to other specialized agents Continuously improve by learning from past executions Define workflows in YAML, making it easy to orchestrate agent interactions Search for relevant tools and agents using OpenAI embeddings Support multiple AI frameworks (BeeAI, etc.) Current Status & Roadmap This is…

I went down the rabbit hole on a side project and ended up building this: Strange Attractors(https://blog.shashanktomar.com/posts/strange-attractors). It’s built with three.js. Working on it reminded me of the little "maths for fun" exercises I used to do while learning programming in early days. Just trying things out, getting fascinated and geeky, and being surprised by the results. I spent way too much time on this, but it was extreme fun. My favorite part: someone pointed me to the Simone Attractor on Threads. It is a 2D attractor and I asked GPT to extrapolate it to…

Autism Simulator▲779Hey all, I built this. It’s not trying to capture every autistic experience (that’d be impossible). It’s based on my own lived experience as well as that of friends on the spectrum. I'm trying to give people a feel for what masking, decision fatigue, and burnout can look like day-to-day. That’s hard to explain in words, but easier to show through choices and stats. I'm not trying to "define autism". I’ve gotten good feedback here about resilience, meds, and difficulty tuning. I’ll keep tweaking it. If even a few people walk away thinking, "ah, maybe that’s why my coworker struggles in those…
