Page.json – An open standard for representing UI

What it does

Page.json describes a user interface as data: its content, layout, and interactions. Just as MCP standardizes how agents call tools, Page.json is meant to standardize how pages are described across applications and platforms. Generative AI makes it easy to create UIs on demand, but we don't want them to be coupled with model providers. Instead, Page.json captures these interfaces in documents that you can inspect, edit, and reuse. A page is a JSON tree.
