Path Tracker
The simplest way to track your user's LLM cost
What it does
I needed a tool to track all the LLM and REST calls between microservices in my system. Since most current options seemed a bit overkill for what I needed - and I wanted to have fun - I decided to build this. All you need is to create an account, generate an API Key and you're ready to call the service from As always, feedback and contributions to the repo are more than welcome Thanks

If you've built any web-based app in the last 15 years, you probably used something like Datadog, New Relic, Sentry, etc. to monitor and trace your app, right? Why should it be different when the app you're building happens to be using LLMs? So today we're open-sourcing OpenLLMetry-JS. It's an open protocol and SDK, based on OpenTelemetry, that provides traces and metrics for LLM JS/TS applications and can be connected to any of the 15+ tools that already support OpenTelemetry. Here's the repo: https://github.com/traceloop/openllmetry-js A few months ago we launched…

- LALLM App – build a realtime LLM app in 30 lines, with no vector database2023 · github.com · ▲11
Hi HN, I am Jan, CTO and co-founder of Pathway.com. We’ve built a LLM microservice that answers questions about a corpus of documents, while automatically reacting to additions of new docs. The single, self-contained service fully replaces a complex multi-system pipeline that scans in real-time for new documents, indexes them into a specialized database and queries it to generate answers. Everyone can have their own real-time vector now. Github: https://github.com/pathwaycom/llm-app Demo video: https://youtu.be/kcrJSk00duw I am eager to hear your thoughts…
- AIAlerting in realtime RAG: spot changes to LLM answers, using few tokens2023 · github.com · ▲8
Hi I am Jan, CTO @ Pathway. A use case we have been working on with LLMs is to let people know when an answer to their query changes due to revisions of source documents. Obviously, we want to avoid periodically re-computing all queries for the LLM. Why I think it’s cool? - We don’t spin in a loop to repeat with the LLM. - Alerts are LLM-deduplicated - no spamming users with typo fixes - And the best - our framework, Pathway takes care of handling the updates, the example looks nearly like a regular, static RAG chatbot. Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
