What it does
AI coding agents have amnesia. They solve the same bugs repeatedly, forgetting hard-won knowledge the moment the session ends. PeKG is a cross-project knowledge graph that agents query via MCP. No prompts to write — the agent captures decisions, patterns, and gotchas as you work, compiles them into searchable wiki articles, and surfaces relevant blockers before you hit them again. BYOLLM: Your agent does the synthesis. PeKG owns the graph. You keep control of your data and tokens.

Hi all, I'm Peter at Staff Engineer and Mozilla.ai and I want to share our idea for a standard for shared agent learning, conceptually it seemed to fit easily in my mental model as a Stack Overflow for agents. The project is trying to see if we can get agents (any agent, any model) to propose 'knowledge units' (KUs) as a standard schema based on gotchas it runs into during use, and proactively query for existing KUs in order to get insights which it can verify and confirm if they prove useful. I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
