In plain words
Permit AI Access Control is a SaaS platform that provides fine-grained authorization controls for AI-powered applications. It enables AI models to safely access sensitive data, external APIs, and user systems while maintaining security guardrails. The tool is built for developers who need to implement access controls in AI workflows without building authorization systems from scratch.

Permit.io AI Access Control brings fine-grained authorization (FGA) to AI workflows, ensuring AI models interact safely with sensitive data, external APIs, and users - all without developers having to build this from scratch
Enforce RBAC, ABAC, and ReBAC across AI prompts, tool calls, responses, and data access. Same authorization plane as your apps and APIs.
Enforce structured prompt validation and prevent unauthorized inputs/outputs. Enforce identity-based access control before AI models execute actions through integration with MCP's Servers. Enable authentication, authorization, and data filtering for controlling RAG queries. Secure System Prompts: Prevent AI jailbreaks by enforcing strict system prompt policies. Secure User Prompts: Block harmful inputs, such as SQL or prompt injection attacks. Prompt Limitation - Apply limitations through granular, attribute based access policies (e.g., role, subscription tier, organization). Real-Time Enforcement - Dynamically authorize prompts before they reach the AI model. Granular Access Control -…from permit.io

Permit MCP GatewayMar 2026 · permit.io · ▲134Hi HN, Gabriel, Co-Founder at Permit.io. We're releasing Permit MCP Gateway today, an authorization proxy for MCP servers. TL;DR - we built an MCP Gateway that developers love and CISOs trust. Watch more[0] Now, after your little hate on using fancy copy on HN, to the real thing: MCP is in a strange place. Developers are debating whether it's overcomplicated compared to CLIs or skills files. Meanwhile, enterprises are adopting it by default because every agentic system that acts on your behalf, Cursor, Claude, Copilot, internal agents, needs a stable infrastructure for connecting to tools.…

I was at FB/Meta from late 2013 to early 2023, mostly working in the compiler/runtime spaces. I got hit in the spring 2023 layoff wave. I immediately started making games in my newfound free time (a lifelong interest, and I even worked in AA(A?) back ca. ~2000), and in October 2023 I stumbled upon the idea of a roguelike pachinko/plinko game inspired by Luck Be A Landlord. Things snowballed quickly, I started talking to publishers, then worked like crazy through all of 2024, almost the hardest I've ever worked in my career, and launched the game in December 2024. It's sold…

i wanted to change the habit of reaching for my phone in the morning and doomscrolling away an hour so i built an app to help me. now i have to literally touch grass before accessing my most distracting apps the app is built in swiftui, uses the screen time apis provided by apple and google vision to recognise grass or not i'd love to get your thoughts on the concept.
