Phaxio.com | A pay-as-you-go fax API for developers
URL: www.phaxio.com The concept behind Phaxio is pretty simple: Powerful fax API, simple pricing and a clean frontend. Built for developers. Response has been pretty good so far so I think we're ready for the HN critique. You can go to phaxio for a beta invite or you email me at info [at] phaxio [dot] com.

We built phaxio to be an awesome faxing API that developers would want to use. We released the send arm of phaxio a couple of weeks ago and today we're releasing the receiving side. With phaxio you don't need to rent a phone line or pay exorbitant prices. phaxio is 7c per page, pay-as-you-go. To receive faxes, drop a phaxio barcode onto any of the first five pages of your document and we'll take care of the rest. Phaxio also offers the option to host your document and dynamically generate and attach a barcode, which you can access via URL. Let us know what you think. Phaxio.com

In my spare time to remind myself that I could actually build stuff (and learn some Python, Flask, Redis, etc) I put together a simple job board to feature the best jobs in the API industry. The jobs can be either building APIs at companies like Twilio, Box, Stripe, etc. or integrating them. In addition to featuring those jobs, I'm also aggregating API jobs from GitHub Jobs, Stack Overflow Careers 2.0, and 37signals Job Board. Today I launched with what I would consider an 'MVP' with jobs from SendGrid, TokBox, Twilio, Zencoder, Parse, Stripe, Pusher and Box. Check it out, I'd love to know…

hi all, I've always wanted to make my own game, but couldn't afford a thousand-dollar adobe (flash+photoshop) license. I'm not a talented programmer, have no degree in CS. But I understand some elements of design. So I got me a copy of ImpactJS, and after about 5 months of steep learning curve (at least for me), I managed to come up with a game. I also integrated it with a highscore and badge system, similar to what you get at Kongregate. You need to login with Google/OpenID to earn badges/scores. link is: http://www.hotbazooka.com/privatejoe hope to hear some feedback/questions from you guys!

I remember seeing the Dragon Labs Dragonfish Glowing Form Demo[1] when it first came out, and it always stuck in my head. They implement the effect by using a rather large background image and a mask image and move the background image around via Javascript. I was inspired and wanted to see how close I could get with CSS3. I recommend using a Webkit browser [and you can see an alternate version of the animation on Firefox 4].
