In plain words
PhearJS is an API that renders JavaScript-heavy webpages using PhantomJS and returns the results as structured JSON. It addresses the problem of scraping dynamic sites that rely on AJAX and client-side rendering by executing pages in a headless browser and extracting machine-readable output. The tool is designed for developers doing web scraping, data mining, or SEO work who need static snapshots of pages that would otherwise appear empty to standard HTTP requests.

From the sources
PhearJS renders dynamic webpages using PhantomJS : fetch a page, render it and return a pretty, machine-readable JSON object. Many websites rely on Javascript for data via AJAX and front-end rendering. When a machine (e.g. curl ) requests such a page it only 'sees' an empty page. This is a problem when you want to get a static copy of a dynamic page, e.g. for SEO purposes, web scraping or data mining. PhearJS fixes this by rendering pages in a headless PhantomJS browser and returning a fancy JSON object containing the rendered page + meta data about the response. PhearJS is fully open source, so you can run it on your own server. The internet is a messy place and exceptions aren't rare.…from phear.io

uFuzzy.js – A tiny, efficient fuzzy search that doesn't suck2022 · github.com · ▲251Hello HN! I became frustrated with the unpredictible/poor match quality and opaqueness of "relevance scores" in existing fuzzy and fulltext search libs, so I tried something different and this is the result. The main selling point is the result quality / ordering, with best-in-class memory overhead and excellent performance being bonuses. The API is pretty stable at this point, but looking for feedback before committing to 1.0. TL;DR The test corpus is a 4MB json file with 162k words/phrases, so give it a second for initial download. You can also drag/drop your own…

Talanoa▲343Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
