A quick and simple service for getting images of monkeys for use as placeholders. Several filters are available such as greyscale, sepia, blur and even a Spooky filter for your secret scary projects! Enjoy!

A quick and simple service for getting images of monkeys for use as placeholders.

To get an image with the greyscale filter, just add ?greyscale at the end of the URL. To get an image with the sepia filter, just add ?sepia at the end of the URL. To get a blurred image, just add ?blur at the end of the URL. The default amount of blur is 15 , but you can adjust it as you like by providing a value between 0 and 100 . To get some spooky monkeys, just add ?spooky at the end of the URL. You can prevent requested images from being cached by appending ?random at the end of the URL. If you want multiple images of the same size, add the ?random param as well as afrom placemonkeys.com
