Plan Sanity

Off the insane breadcrumb you smashed from planning

What it does

🧠 Plan Sanity: The One Tool That Tells You to Do Less How it works: 1. Paste your daily plan (or any plan — trip, project, life) 2. AI reads each item and classifies it: ✅ KEEP | 📅 MOVE | ✂️ CUT 3. Gets brutally honest about time — your "3 hours of work" is probably 5 4. You walk away knowing exactly what matters today Why this exists: I kept planning 8-hour days with 12 hours of work. So I built a tool that does the math I was too optimistic to do myself.

Does the same job

    A Minimal Monthly Task Planner (printable, offline, no signup)Dec 2025 · printcalendar.top · ▲94

Hi HN, I built a tiny tool because I couldn’t find a clean, distraction-free monthly planner that: 1. shows a clean monthly task view 2. doesn’t require an account 3. doesn’t sync or store anything online 4. works offline 5. is printable 6. and keeps a minimal, distraction-free aesthetic So I made https://printcalendar.top/ — a minimal monthly task planner. It’s intentionally simple. No logins, no integrations, no dashboards. Just a small tool for people who want structure without clutter.

An Intelligent Planner That Adapts to How You Work2013 · ▲6

I have FINALLY learned how to manage time. I know procrastination is still a huge problem at my school. Every morning I can still find people just coming home from pulling all nighters. I'm working to compile best known solutions into a smart planner. Other solutions focus more on showing what to do that helping you get stuff done. Here's what it does: Helps yoy break your work down into smaller pieces (30minutes -> 1.5hrs, our attention spans are short) Helps you estimate how long work will take (based on your past personal history) Adapts to your working habits ("John really gets a lot of…

Hey HN, Henry here from Cactus. We open-sourced Needle, a 26M parameter function-calling (tool use) model. It runs at 6000 tok/s prefill and 1200 tok/s decode on consumer devices. We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it. Tool calling is fundamentally retrieval-and-assembly (match query to tool name, extract argument values, emit JSON), not reasoning. Cross-attention…
