Road trip planner that records the drive
What it does
Google Maps isn't built for multi-day trips. PYRT is: build a route day by day with real drive times, keep stops, costs and bookings in one place, and it works offline once you're on the road. The bit people come back for is what happens after. It records your actual drive by GPS, so you finish with a page showing the roads you took, the mileage, and your photos laid out along the route. Free, web and native apps for iOS and Android, covering the UK and Europe.

Hey guys, I built a route planner that is mostly focused on bike touring and using existing bike infrastructure. For each request you're shown what bike tracks/trails your route uses and can further explore them by showing them on map or going to the official trail route. I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role.
