Play brick breaker using webcam and hand tracking (open source)
I built this game to test out the MediaPipe hand-tracking API. Play brick breaker using your webcam + hand movement -- levels get progressively harder with faster speed / smaller paddle. All processing is done in real-time within your browser. This project is built using javascript, html canvas, and mediapipe hand tracking. This game is free and open source, offered under an MIT license. Github repo: https://github.com/collidingScopes/manual-brick-breaker Hope it's fun for you -- would love to hear feedback and suggestions for improvement.
In plain words
This is a browser-based brick breaker game controlled through webcam hand tracking using MediaPipe's hand-detection API. Players move a paddle by moving their hands in front of the camera to break bricks, with difficulty increasing across levels through faster ball speed and a smaller paddle. All processing happens in real-time within the browser using JavaScript and HTML canvas. The project is free and open source under an MIT license, built primarily as a test of the MediaPipe hand-tracking technology.

- TITetris in a PDF▲1,289
I realized that the PDF engines of modern desktop browsers (PDFium and PDF.js) support JavaScript with enough I/O primitives to make a basic game like Tetris. It was a bit tricky to find a union of features that work in both engines, but in the end it turns out that showing/hiding annotation "fields" works well to make monochrome pixels, and keyboard input can be achieved by typing in a text input box. All in all it's quite janky but a nice reminder of how general purpose PDF scripting can be. The linked PDF is all ASCII so you can just open it in a text editor, or have a look at…
