ReclaimOn: Focus and App Blocker
Anchor your goals to real time. Reclaim your focus.
What it does
ReclaimOn turns the goals you keep postponing into protected time in your day. ReclaimOn starts with you: 1. Set a goal. The writer. The runner. Who do you want to become? 2. Anchor it. Give that goal a real time and place in your day. 3. Choose what you're protected from. The apps that keep stealing time from who you want to be. When your anchor begins, those apps are blocked. The block screen doesn't say "no." It shows your goal. Every anchor block is a small vote for a better you.
ReclaimOn is a screen time app and app blocker that anchors your goals to a real time and place, blocks distracting apps, and counts every minute you reclaim. Free for 21 days — no card, no account, data stays on your iPhone.
ReclaimOn doesn't just block distractions. It anchors a goal to a real time and place, blocks what pulls you away, and turns the minutes you reclaim into a number that climbs. This is where you switch it back — one thing that matters, starting today. No guilt, no lectures, no shame dashboards. Just the time you meant to spend, spent where you meant to. Read more, move more, learn the language — start with the one thing that matters to you. Tie the goal to a real time and a real place. Arrive, and distracting apps switch off. Leave, and they come back. Every shielded minute counts toward your weekly target — and the streaks, trends, and digest show it growing. Apple's Screen Time API returns…from reclaimon.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
