ResonanceOne

Earth's electromagnetic pulse as a simple daily number

What it does

ResonanceOne translates Earth's Schumann Resonance and space weather into a simple Activity Index (0–100) you can check like the weather. Track your mood alongside Earth's electromagnetic activity, listen to AI-generated daily podcasts with binaural beats, and connect with a global community. All without needing a physics degree. Built by a solo indie developer. No ads, no paywall, no fear, no medical claims. Just calm awareness.

The current sky at your approximate location, as a CSS gradient2025 · sky.dlazaro.ca · ▲788

For HTML Day 2025 [1], I made a web service that displays the current sky at your approximate location as a CSS gradient. Colours are simulated on-demand using atmospheric absorption and scattering coefficients. Updates every minute, without the use of client-side JavaScript. I built a space travel calculator using Vanilla JavaScriptJan 2026 · cosmic-odometer.vercel.app · ▲54

I built this because measuring my age in years felt boring—I wanted to see the kilometers. The first version only used Earth's orbital speed (~30km/s), but the number moved too slowly. To get the "existential dread" feeling, I switched to using the Milky Way's velocity relative to the CMB (~600km/s). The math takes some liberties (using scalar sum instead of vector) to make the speed feel "fast," but it gets the point across. Under the hood, it's a single HTML file with zero dependencies. No React, no build step. The main challenge was the canvas starfield—I had to pre-allocate the…

With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
