What it does
rrrelax is a simple web app that helps you take a break and breathe slowly and deeply, for an easy way to relax and reset throughout the day. This can be a great way to bring more mindfulness to your days.
Easy online tool to help you incorporate the practice of simple calming breathing techniques like box breathing or 4-7-8 breathing into your everyday routine.
General note: unless otherwise specified, inhaling and exhaling is usually best done through the nose. Also known as square breathing, it's a simple and popular technique to help calm the nervous system and help induce a state of relaxation. Use 4s all around on inhales, exhales and holds, or play around with 5s or even 6s all around and see what resonates with you the most. Taking about 6 breaths per minute seems to be a sweet spot . That equates to 10 seconds per breath, and with the 5-5 technique we do exactly that with 5-second inhales and 5-second exhales. A technique made popular by Dr. Andrew Weil to bring about a state of calm and activate the parasympathetic nervous system. Also…from rrrelax.app
