Determine whether user input is safe or not

What it does
As developers, we are constantly challenged to ensure end-user input will not damage the community. To help create a safe and secure app, we made the SafeContext API, a service that allows developers to determine whether user input is safe or not.

- ADAPIRank.dev – We crawled and ranked public APIs from the internet2023 · apirank.dev · ▲176
tl;dr we at Escape (YC W23), we scanned 5651+ public APIs on the internet with our in house feedback driven API exploration tech, and ranked them using security, performance, reliability, and design criteria. The results are public on https://apirank.dev. You can request that we index your own API to the list for free and see how it compares to others. Why we did that? During a YC meetup I spoke with a fellow founder that told me how hard it was to pick the right external APIs to use within your own projects. I realized that most of what we build relies on public APIs from external…
- IAInstant API – Build type-safe web APIs with JavaScript2023 · github.com · ▲102
Hey there HN! I just wrapped up an all-day documentation spree for Instant API, a JavaScript framework for easily building web APIs that implements type safety at the HTTP interface. It uses a function-as-a-service approach combined with a slightly modified JSDoc spec to automatically enforce parameter and schema validation before HTTP requests make it through to your code. You just write comments above your endpoint functions and voila, enforced type safety contracts between your API endpoints and your developers. OpenAPI specifications are generated automatically as a byproduct of simply…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
