Screen Time Realtime Control

Track Your App Screen Time In Realtime

Screen Time Realtime Control launched on August 7, 2023 with 3 votes. The site was still online in September 2026, 3 years on.

What it does

See how much time you spend on social media, shopping and streaming apps, addicting games etc. Available on iPhone and iPad. Take control of your app usage and develop healthier digital habits.

Sandflow helps iPhone users reduce unconscious scrolling with real-time app usage timers, Dynamic Island, Live Activities, widgets, and iCloud sync.

Sandflow uses Apple Shortcuts automations because iOS does not let apps silently watch every app you open. You stay in control of what gets tracked. Pick the social, streaming, shopping, or game apps that usually pull you into automatic use. Create a simple Shortcut automation that starts and stops Sandflow when those apps open and close. Watch your current session in Dynamic Island, Live Activities, widgets, and inside Sandflow. Check daily totals, all-time usage, app opens, session length, and leaderboards. Sandflow is for people who do not want to block their whole phone, but do want a visible cue when an app session starts running away from them. Notice how long you have been scrolling…from appscreentime.com

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

  • Outlines is a Python library that focuses on text generation with large language models. Brandon and I are not LLM experts and started the project a few months ago because we wanted to understand better how the generation process works. Our original background is probabilistic, relational and symbolic programming. Recently we came up with a fast way to generate text that matches a regex (https://blog.normalcomputing.ai/posts/2023-07-27-regex-guide...). The basic idea is simple: regular expressions have an equivalent Deterministic-Finite Automaton (DFA) representation. We…
