I built this after noticing that existing tools for comparing constitutional law either have steep learning curves or only support keyword search. By combining Gemini embeddings with UMAP projection, you can navigate 30,828 constitutional articles from 188 countries in 3D and find conceptually related provisions even when the wording differs. Compare constitutional texts from 190+ countries on an interactive 3D semantic map. Explore rights, institutions, and legal language across the world's constitutions.
Click any country with data to load its semantic points. Drag to pan and use the zoom controls for regional comparisons. Presets are additive. The country list can be filtered by name and re-ordered for broad or focused exploration. Queries may be written in any language, but English usually works best against this corpus. Country presence reflects individual constitutional articles classified into each cluster. Constitutions that address a theme within a broad, multi-topic article may not appear even if the topic is covered. So I built something that doesn't just give the first answer, but ranks the matches based on distance / cosine symmetry. I polished it a bit so that others can try it out, too. For now, I only have nouns (and some proper nouns) in the dataset, and pick the most common interpretation among the homographs. Also, it's case sensitive.
