ShortsBlocker

In plain words

ShortsBlocker is a Chrome extension that removes YouTube Shorts videos from the platform. It filters out Shorts from the YouTube homepage, search results, explore page, subscriptions tab, and other areas. The tool is designed for users who want to focus on longer-form YouTube content without the distraction of short videos. It helps streamline the viewing experience for those who prefer traditional YouTube videos over the Shorts format.

Youtube Shorts are pure evil. It just distract me whenever I open Youtube, I'll always waste my time in it and forget why I opened it. So I made a extension for myself and it works well, Still there is no improvement in my productivity but I'm not distracted. I made it for myself and personally using it, if you like you can use it too. I made it open-source, if you like it give a star -Vick

YouTube banned adblockers so I built an extension to skip their ads2023 · ▲713

Hi HN! Since Youtube no longer allows AdBlockers, I built my own extension to get around their video ads. If there is an ad it temporarily manipulates the video; Mutes the volume, sets speed to 10x, and skips it if there is a button. I am neurodivergent and noticed the Youtube Shorts format was hacking my brain to engage longer than I wanted. I wrote this quick extension to gain my time back. If you have suggestions for improvement, I'm all ears. Thank you :)

  Pornpen.ai – AI-Generated Porn▲711

Hey HN, I've been working on https://pornpen.ai, a site for generating adult images. Please only visit the site if you are 18+ and willing to look at NSFW images. This site is an experiment using newer text-to-image models. I explicitly removed the ability to specify custom text to avoid harmful imagery from being generated. New tags will be added once the prompt-engineering algorithm is fine-tuned further. If the servers are overloaded, take a look at the feed and search pages to look through past results.
