SprintZen
Hey HN, we're launching SprintZen – an AI-powered test case management platform that helps teams write, organize, and sync tests without the mess. It generates test cases from user stories or PRs, integrates with Jira, Linear, and Monday, and auto-reports bugs. We built this after working with 15+ startups (YC-backed and others) and seeing how painful test maintenance can get. Would love your feedback. To try this out you can create your account here - https://on.sprintzen.app/login
SprintZen launched on February 3, 2025 with 48 votes, #498 of 5,999 launches that month and more than 90% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 1 year on.
What it does
Meet Sprintzen, your AI-powered assistant that transforms user stories into actionable test cases in seconds. Save time and product quality by automating test case generation, spotting edge cases early, and integrating seamlessly with Jira, Linear, and Monday.
SprintZen is no longer active. Here’s why, and what comes next.
SprintZen began with a simple frustration: QA felt far too manual. We believed a user story or PRD should become acceptance criteria, test cases, edge cases, and browser checks with less handwork. What changed is the landscape. Agentic tools, MCP-connected workflows, and the tools teams already use moved quickly enough that a standalone QA app no longer felt like the right shape. Reliable software still needs more than fast code. It needs validation across browsers and devices, security thinking, product judgment, and evidence you canfrom sprintzen.app

Atono2025 · atono.io · ▲189We kept asking "why did we build it this way?" and spending 20 minutes hunting through Jira, Slack, and GitHub for answers. It was a symptom of a bigger "Jira-problem". So we built Atono (https://atono.io). The idea: Stories that don't die when you ship. Everything - requirements, code changes, bugs, decisions - stays in one place. Our take (might not be for everyone): -Feature flags live in the story, not another tool -Feature engagement for you to see if people use what you built -Context > process What's in it: -Toggle feature flags right in the story -See usage graphs without…
YansuMay 2026 · yansu.app · ▲338Hi HN Most teams run on a dozen SaaS tools and use maybe 20% of each. The rest is someone else's workflow that you're paying for. We built Yansu to fix that. It learns how you work — your desktop, your Slack, your Teams — and proactively builds bespoke tools tailored to you. You don’t need to prompt. It sees a pattern, builds a solution, and surfaces it for you to use or toss. Like, I do the same things before every call: look through Linkedin, see any open threads on email, read the latest blog/news of the company and any relevant slack conversations. Yansu noticed and built me an app…

Talanoa▲343Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

I was at FB/Meta from late 2013 to early 2023, mostly working in the compiler/runtime spaces. I got hit in the spring 2023 layoff wave. I immediately started making games in my newfound free time (a lifelong interest, and I even worked in AA(A?) back ca. ~2000), and in October 2023 I stumbled upon the idea of a roguelike pachinko/plinko game inspired by Luck Be A Landlord. Things snowballed quickly, I started talking to publishers, then worked like crazy through all of 2024, almost the hardest I've ever worked in my career, and launched the game in December 2024. It's sold…

i wanted to change the habit of reaching for my phone in the morning and doomscrolling away an hour so i built an app to help me. now i have to literally touch grass before accessing my most distracting apps the app is built in swiftui, uses the screen time apis provided by apple and google vision to recognise grass or not i'd love to get your thoughts on the concept.
