What it does
Tapes is a local-first audio workspace bringing professional studio tools to mobile. It uses on-device AI for stem separation, audio-to-MIDI conversion, and noise reduction. Key features include a multi-track studio view, real-time BPM/key detection, and harmonic scouting for sonic matching. Unlike cloud-based alternatives, Tapes processes all audio locally, ensuring privacy and offline performance. It is a comprehensive toolkit for mobile producers and field recorders.
The ultimate audio workspace for everyone. Record in 48kHz, split stems instantly, and keep your ideas safe.

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
