Tensel
Deploy web apps on sovereign European infrastructure
What it does
Tensel is a European application platform for deploying web apps and static sites without relying on US cloud infrastructure. Connect GitHub, deploy a local folder, or use the CLI. Tensel handles builds, HTTPS, custom domains, logs, metrics, deployments, and rollbacks. Your applications and platform data run in Paris on European infrastructure, under a French company. Built for teams that want a modern PaaS developer experience with a clearer European sovereignty story.
Connect a GitHub repo and push. Your app runs in Paris with builds, HTTPS, domains, logs, metrics and rollback included. No DevOps required.
Connect a GitHub repo and push. The rest is handled. No DevOps required. Your code is built in a disposable virtual machine, destroyed after use. The result is an image pinned by digest: that is what deploys, and it never changes. The new version replaces the old without downtime; the old one stays ready for rollback. Your application answers on its domain, over HTTPS, in Paris. The result reports back as a GitHub Check. $ git push origin main → build 9ae931f isolated context, Paris → image sha256:4c1f… immutable → rollout 1/1 replicas healthy ✓ https://demo.tensel.cloud 42 s Platform Deploy from GitHub or from a Docker image. I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers. The UX is essentially that of a chess clock for an arbitrary number of players with configurable time. The whole point of the app is to kick you out of the running role/priority when its time is up.
