In plain words
Term-Lisp is a programming language that combines Lisp with pattern matching and term rewriting capabilities. It is designed for developers interested in functional programming paradigms and symbolic computation. The language distinguishes itself through its focus on pattern matching as a core feature, allowing programmers to write code that matches and transforms data structures directly rather than using traditional control flow, making it suitable for tasks involving data transformation and symbolic manipulation.

Disclaimer: This project is at a very early stage, many things may not work. term-lisp is a language for term lis t p rocessing with first-class pattern matching, inspired by Pie, Haskel, Agda et al. Right from when Church and Turing defined it, the concept of computation has been two-fold --- it can be presented either as the process of mutating the values of some state (Turing Machine) or by transforming some terms, using a predefined set of equations (Lambda Calculus). term-lisp leans heavily in the second direction. It does not support variables and its functions, are rules that describe how to replace a given term with another one. Also, note that "Bool True" isn't defined anywhere.…from github.com

Lovable▲1,477Hey HN! Previous CERN physicist turned hacker here. We've developed a way to make AI coding actually work by systematically identifying and fixing places where LLMs typically fail in full-stack development. Today we're launching as Lovable (previously gptengineer.app) since it's such a big change. The problem? AI writing code typically make small mistakes and then get stuck. Those who tried know the frustration. We fixed most of this by mapping out where LLMs fail in full-stack dev and engineering around those pitfalls with prompt chains. Thanks to this, in all comparisons I found with: v0,…

I wasn't quite sure if this qualified as "Show HN" given you can't really download it and try it out. However, dang said[0]: > If it's hardware or something that's not so easy to try out over the internet, find a different way to show how it actually works—a video, for example, or a detailed post with photos. Hopefully I did that? Additionally, I've put code and a detailed guide for the netboot computer management setup on GitHub: https://github.com/kentonv/lanparty Anyway, if this shouldn't have been Show HN, I apologize!
