Give them a ball to drag, throw, slingshot and bounce while your ears stay in the meeting. At minute forty, your hand reaches for something. A phone takes your eyes, ears and the next ten minutes with it. Tether gives the restless bit of you a side quest that ends the instant somebody says your name. Real physics. No purpose whatsoever. That's rather the point. The ball treats your actual windows as surfaces. It lands on your calendar, rolls along the edge, then drops off the end. Still windows become ledges and walls.
