Text2Test | 0 → Test Suite in Minutes

Turn plain text into automated tests in minutes.

What it does

Most test automation makes you think like a machine: hunt selectors, write brittle scripts, fix them when UI shifts. Text2Test flips that. Describe a test in plain text. Our model compiles it into a deterministic test that runs on real browsers and heals itself as your app evolves. No code. No selectors. No setup. No token trap. AI testing tools charge you every time tests run. AI helps you create tests, not run them on repeat. Costs scale with what you build, not how often it runs.

Generate test cases from your design, code, and tickets through MCP. Mix five sequence types in one test. Run plans on every push. Drill into every failure. Text2Test is the AI-native QA suite.

Plain English in. Deterministic, automated tests out. Text2Test reads your stack, generates structured test cases, runs them on every push, and tells you exactly what broke. Connect your sources through MCP. Generate structured tests. Run the plan. Drill into failures. One session, one suite. Plain English. Compiled into deterministic steps that run consistently across runs. Hand a Jira ticket to an LLM. It reads the screen, reasons about each step, and adapts as the UI changes. Paste an existing Playwright script. Or generate one from a test case. Runs inline with everything else. Upload a reference screenshot. Describe what should match in plain text. Pixel-perfect catches layout drift.…from text2test.ai

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
