TextShareNow
Share Text Between Any Devices In Seconds
What it does
TextShareNow skips the friction other sharing tools have. No app to install, no account, no QR pairing, no Bluetooth setup — just paste your text, get a short code, and retrieve it on any device in seconds. Text auto-deletes after use for privacy. Unlike email-to-self or cloud notes, there's zero setup and zero clutter left behind. Built for quick code snippets, links, and notes moving between phone and laptop — the fastest way to bridge devices, nothing more, nothing less.
Transfer text, links, and notes between any devices in seconds using a short code. No app, no sign-up, completely free. Works phone to laptop and back.
Stop emailing yourself. Paste your link or note, get a short code, type it on your other device — done. Works phone to laptop, laptop to phone, across any network. From copy to paste in under 10 seconds — no accounts, no apps, no friction. On your sending device, open TextShareNow and paste your link, note, or any text into the Send tab. Hit send — our system instantly generates a unique 5-character code tied to your content. On your other device, scan the QR code with your phone camera — or open the site and type the short code. Your content shows up immediately — auto-copied to your clipboard and ready to use. Moving a link, a note, or a snippet of text from one device to another sounds…from textsharenow.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
