Tournée GPS

Route optimisation, straight from your spreadsheet.

What it does

Upload a spreadsheet of addresses, get the shortest visiting order computed on real roads. You get an interactive map, the same file reordered with distance and time per leg, and a link to send to whoever is on the ground. 29 EUR/month, flat.

Upload a spreadsheet of addresses, get the shortest visiting order on real roads, and send it to the phone of whoever is on the ground. Flat 29 EUR per month.

Tournée GPS turns a list of addresses into the shortest visiting order, computed on the real road network. One flat price for the whole company, no per-vehicle billing. Free 24-hour trial, no credit card. You upload an Excel or CSV file of addresses. The tool locates each one, computes the shortest order of visit over the actual road network — not straight-line distance — and hands back three things: an interactive map, the same spreadsheet reordered with the distance and duration of every leg, and a link to send to the driver or technician. That link opens on any phone, with no account and no app to install. Stops are ticked off as the round progresses, it keeps working when the network…from tourneegps.com

    Routing24 – Free route optimization in the browser2024 · routing24.com · ▲54

Hi HN! I built Routing24 to make route optimization easier and accessible for small businesses and solo drivers. With Google Maps, you can plan routes between a few locations for free, but it doesn’t support efficient multi-stop planning, handling multiple vehicles, or adding specific business rules like delivery time windows. Many tools offer route optimization for around $30 per vehicle per month, but Routing24 provides it completely free. Optimization happens fully on the client-side, using your device’s resources instead of cloud servers. The interface is simple for now: you can…

Bike route planner that follows almost only official bike trails2024 · trailimap.com · ▲279

Hey guys, I built a route planner that is mostly focused on bike touring and using existing bike infrastructure. For each request you're shown what bike tracks/trails your route uses and can further explore them by showing them on map or going to the official trail route. The main idea for the app is to have a friendly and easy to use planner that would make heavy use of official bike trails data (mainly from OpenStreetMap) and make it easy to plan a longer trip using the best possible bike routes out there. Currently the app only works for the Euro region but I'm planning to add North…

    I built a transit travel time map2023 · map.henryn.xyz · ▲255

This was something I built while trying to look for housing in Toronto that was decently transit-accessible to my office while still cheap. The backend is written in Rust. It parses public GTFS data from transit agencies and performs a simple heuristics-based BFS on the bus lines to calculate how long to reach all points in a city. The frontend uses React and Mapbox GL to render each individual road segment based on how long it takes to reach. This project was a great excuse to learn Rust, deployments, and mapping. The source code is here if you are interested:…

Learn where countries are on the world map with Spaced Repetition2025 · map.koljapluemer.com · ▲217

Hi HN, I made a web game to practice country locations a while ago and HN liked it, so I thought I'd post my updated version as well. As for how the game works and feels, I'd really recommend you checking it out for yourself, it's free, no signup, no ads. The tech stack is Vue + ts + Tailwind/Daisy for the looks. The learning algorithm is a slight modification of the ts version of FSRS. If you have anything to add, it's open source as well (https://github.com/koljapluemer/learn-worldmap), although not well documented yet. In the end it's just a little sideproject,…

  • I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers. The UX is essentially that of a chess clock for an arbitrary number of players with configurable time. The whole point of the app is to kick you out of the running role/priority when its time is up. One…
