What it does

Contribute to EricNelson12/retrocycles-hilbert development by creating an account on GitHub.

A macOS background utility that listens for shortcut sequences and injects keyboard inputs to draw fun patterns in RetroCycles — a snake/tron-style game where your trail forms the pattern. ./run.sh On first run, you'll be prompted to grant Accessibility permissions: Once running, the listener monitors global keyboard events. When it detects a trigger sequence (e.g. :hil followed by Enter), it deletes the typed characters and then fires a precisely-timed series of arrow key presses to steer your RetroCycles trail into the desired shape. Event injection uses a tag ( 0xDEAD ) to distinguish synthetic keystrokes from real ones, preventing feedbackfrom github.com

This little project came about because I kept running into the same problem: cleanly differentiating sensor data before doing analysis. There are a ton of ways to solve this problem, I've always personally been a fan of using kalman filters for the job as its easy to get the double whammy of resampling/upsampling to a fixed consistent rate and also smoothing/outlier rejection. I wrote a little numpy only bayesian filtering/smoothing library recently (https://github.com/hugohadfield/bayesfilter/) so this felt like a fun and very useful first thing to…

  • With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
