What it does
launched my file-sharing tool. The idea was simple: sending files always felt clunky — attachments, expiring links, shared folders, etc. So I started building a different approach: “capsules.” You seal files into a capsule, it encrypts them in the browser before upload, and you send a single link. The recipient opens the capsule and downloads the files. No accounts required. It’s called Universal Send Capsule. If you regularly send files to clients or collaborators, you might find it useful.

Hi HN, I'm building ThirdCloud with the goal to replace Google Drive for everyone: more private, cheaper & maybe better UI/UX. So far, I've successfully implemented the main feature, which involves uploading and downloading files. Files are encrypted before being sent to IPFS network. Would like to hear your thoughts on this proof of concept.
