UTMConfig

Campaign naming & UTM management for performance marketers.

What it does

UTMConfig turns campaign naming conventions into a system your whole team can actually follow. Define fields, abbreviations, casing and separators once, then generate consistent campaign, ad set and ad names, plus UTMs. Bulk generation and client-specific conventions are built in. MCP support is coming soon, so AI agents can generate names using the exact same rules as your team.

Define your advertising naming convention once, then generate standardised campaign names, ad set names, ad names and UTM tracking URLs in seconds. Built for freelance media buyers and performance agencies.

Your first client is free. Set up your naming system in two minutes. Create one naming system for your agency. Generate standardised campaigns, ads and tracking URLs in seconds. Different clients. Different platforms. Different naming rules. One typo and your reporting gets messy. One campaign, four buyers, four names. Nothing groups in reporting, and no filter catches all of them. Turn everyday values into your team's standard abbreviations. https://example.com/?utm_source=META&utm_medium=paid_social&utm_campaign=NIKE_META_PUR_NL_BRD&utm_term=BRD Save it as your own convention, with your clients and your abbreviations. Choose the fields, the order, the separator and the casing once. Every…from utmconfig.com

Outlines is a Python library that focuses on text generation with large language models. Brandon and I are not LLM experts and started the project a few months ago because we wanted to understand better how the generation process works. Our original background is probabilistic, relational and symbolic programming. Recently we came up with a fast way to generate text that matches a regex (https://blog.normalcomputing.ai/posts/2023-07-27-regex-guide...). The basic idea is simple: regular expressions have an equivalent Deterministic-Finite Automaton (DFA) representation. We…

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
