What it does
Browser-based live video. Show up on Square to be found, or run your own group with a stage. Pull people up, send video messages when they’re offline, keep clips in Feeds. No app store. Vloggers, classes, bands, friends, anyone who’d rather meet in one room.
VidPlaza is a focused live video platform for vloggers: Square plaza, private Live groups, video messages, feeds, and community safety tools. Sign in to create and collaborate.
Finishing sign-in and opening your invite. This can take a few seconds. No one is waving yet. Friends wave from your tile on Square; group members wave from the strip. No audio links yet. Tap the headset on a friend’s tile — they must accept. Pull all never opens mics or dumps Live recordings into Feeds. Your Live Participants cap (free 4, up to 20 if purchased) is how many people you can hear at once. Their 5 or 20 seats do not have to match yours — each pair is one yes on each side. Click a tile to pull them on stage — up to 4. Use × on stage to send them back. Floats over your VPL view only — not sent to Mux / YouTube / Facebook / X. Send VPL Group Link lives here. I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers.
