What it does

Wakeful watches cron jobs, SSL certs, DNS records, and HTTP endpoints, and alerts you the moment something breaks. Most tools either only do HTTP pings, or bundle in status pages and incident management at a price that doesn't fit a solo dev's side project. Wakeful keeps it simple: cron heartbeat pings, SSL expiry alerts, DNS change detection, and HTTP checks. Alerts via email, Discord, Telegram, or webhook. The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano.
