In plain words
Wasmino enables developers to run Arduino code directly in web browsers by compiling it to WebAssembly. The tool bridges embedded systems programming and web development, allowing Arduino sketches to execute in a browser environment without hardware. It's designed for developers who want to simulate Arduino projects, learn embedded programming, or prototype web-based Arduino applications. The combination of WASM compilation and Arduino compatibility makes it a unique solution for cross-platform code execution.

Wasmino is an Arduino core fully compatible with the Arduino IDE. It allows you to compile your Arduino sketch to WebAssembly and run it in a browser, all using the Arduino IDE. This is the off-the-shelf “Fade” example in the Arduino IDE. /* Fade This example shows how to fade an LED on pin 9 using the analogWrite() function. The analogWrite() function uses PWM, so if you want to change the pin you're using, be sure to use another PWM capable pin. On most Arduino, the PWM pins are identified with a "~" sign, like ~3, ~5, ~6, ~9, ~10 and ~11. This example code is in the public domain. http://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/Fade */ int led = 9; // the PWM pin the LED is…from blog.yifangu.com

Jaws – a JavaScript to WASM ahead-of-time compiler2024 · github.com · ▲290I've open sourced a JavaScript to WASM compiler. It's an experimental tool, but given the semantics I already implemented, I'm fairly certain I am able to eventually cover 100% of JavaScript spec. Any ideas, questions or critique welcomed! If you are interested in WASM, especially with new proposals like WASM GC or exception handling, it might be a good source of seeing these features in action - the project has a few thousand lines of hand written WAT so far.

Sandboxing untrusted code using WebAssemblyFeb 2026 · github.com · ▲76Hi everyone, I built a runtime to isolate untrusted code using wasm sandboxes. Basically, it protects your host system from problems that untrusted code can cause. We’ve had a great discussion about sandboxing in Python lately that elaborates a bit more on the problem [1]. In TypeScript, wasm integration is even more natural thanks to the close proximity between both ecosystems. The core is built in Rust. On top of that, I use WASI 0.2 via wasmtime and the component model, along with custom SDKs that keep things as idiomatic as possible. For example, in Python we have a simple decorator:…

Talanoa▲346Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

It's been a long slow hog and I almost gave up a few times (more than a few) but when covid hit this year it gave me some time to really focus on my product. There were stupid user journey things that I knew needed fixed. There were some features I knew needed added. And I knew the pricing was wrong. I spent some hardcore time working on these things back in March / April and since then my MRR has continued to grow. My product is SongBox (https://songbox.rocks) - it's an alternative to things like bandcamp and soundcloud for creators who need to share audio files privately.…
