In plain words
Wasp is a full-stack framework that uses an LLM to assist with development. It allows developers to build web applications by leveraging language model capabilities throughout the development process. The framework combines frontend and backend tooling in a single system designed to streamline application creation for developers who want LLM-powered assistance.

This blog post is an April 1st joke. Everything we said here wasn't true, we're not using LLMs to generate your code. Wasp is a full-stack, batteries-included web framework, that is being developed by humans for humans and AI tools 😃 For those of you who are new here, we have been building a full-stack, batteries-included web framework for the last four years. You can think of Wasp as a modern, JS-based incarnation of Laravel, Django or Ruby on Rails . We based it on a custom compiler so it doesn’t depend on the specific stack or the architecture in the long run (currently it supports React, Node.js and Prisma). Wasp just crossed 16,000 stars on GitHub , with thousands of devs using it…from wasp.sh

Hey HN! Wasp (https://wasp-lang.dev/) is a simple config language (DSL) and framework for building full-stack web apps. You describe the high-level features you want (auth, CRUD, async jobs, …) using the Wasp DSL, and write the rest of your logic in React, Node.js, and Prisma. We’re focused on simplifying developer experience and ensuring best practices. Everything is open source. Why another full-stack framework? And why a config language/DSL? We were still experiencing a lot of boilerplate (repetitive tasks) using other frameworks—things like duplicating data models…

Hi everyone, I built PyXL — a hardware processor that executes a custom assembly generated from Python programs, without using a traditional interpreter or virtual machine. It compiles Python -> CPython Bytecode -> Instruction set designed for direct hardware execution. I’m sharing an early benchmark: a GPIO test where PyXL achieves a 480ns round-trip toggle — compared to 14-25 micro seconds on a MicroPython Pyboard - even though PyXL runs at a lower clock (100MHz vs. 168MHz). The design is stack-based, fully pipelined, and preserves Python's dynamic typing without static type restrictions.…
