We open sourced a $50M neobank
Open sourcing our neobank for nonprofits has been years in the making. We shared our initial launch here back in 2019 (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19257241). Today, I’m happy to announce that our Ruby on Rails codebase is public on GitHub!
In plain words
A neobank platform originally valued at $50 million and designed for nonprofits has made its Ruby on Rails codebase publicly available on GitHub. The open-source project allows developers to access and build upon the banking infrastructure that was previously proprietary. This release represents the culmination of years of development, following the platform's initial launch in 2019.
