Webround
API-first website & e-commerce platform
What it does
Webround is an API-first platform for building and managing websites, e-commerce stores and digital catalogs. Unlike traditional site builders, Webround gives developers and agencies full control at every level, with a headless approach that lets anyone integrate or extend the platform for whatever they need. Webround is already a reference for italian businesses that sell online, collect leads, and integrate data with external software.
Webround is the all-in-one platform for building websites, e-commerce, blogs, and digital catalogs without stress.
Storefront, order management, checkout, and growth tools. Completely managed, no plugins. Webround doesn't lock you in a box. Public APIs, signed hooks, app extensions, and custom React code. Hook in however you want, using the systems you already love. Every Webround resource is exposed via REST APIs. Orders, products, customers, shipments. Read, write, and automate with your own tools. Your endpoint receives an HMAC-signed request on every render. Verify the signature, run your logic, and return the response. Webround sends you the signed cart data. Modify amounts, apply B2B tier discounts, integrate CRMs and loyalty programs. Register your app in the admin panel. Use the APIs and…from webround.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
