The answer is always a current player from one of Europe's five biggest leagues, filtered so you only meet footballers you have a fair chance of knowing. A new footballer is picked at midnight UTC and stays the same until the next one. Yesterday's answer is revealed at the bottom of the page once the day rolls over, along with a countdown to the next kick-off, so you always know how long you have to wait.
