WowSolver
One tab. Every tool you actually use daily.
What it does
We're excited to introduce WowSolver to the Product Hunt community. We built it out of frustration with ad-heavy tools, cluttered interfaces, and unnecessary extra steps just to get simple things done. WowSolver brings everyday tools into one clean platform — from compressing images and analyzing writing to locking PDFs and generating custom QR codes. Fast, simple, and built to help you get things done without the hassle.
Easily resize and compress images, lock and unlock PDFs, generate QR codes, and more. Explore WowSolver's free online tools with no watermarks.
Resize and compress images, secure your PDFs, count your words, generate QR codes, and more — all in your browser. Nobody wants to install another piece of software just to get a simple task done. That's why WowSolver lives entirely in your browser. It is fast, lightweight, and ready the exact second you need it. Need to compress a high-res image or lock down a PDF before sending it off? Just drop your file and go. No waiting. No setup. When you encrypt a PDF or upload anything private on WowSolver , we don't treat it as ours to keep. Your file gets deleted from our servers after an hour, automatically, no manual cleanup, no backups quietly stored elsewhere. We're simply not in the business…from wowsolver.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
