XamTable

XamTable — The Hardcore Accountability Engine for Aspirants

What it does

The only study tracker you’ll actually be afraid to ignore- Most study trackers are too nice. You set a target, you miss it, and the app just says, "It's okay, try again tomorrow!" As an aspirant preparing for high-stakes exams (JEE/NEET), that "niceness" led me to a massive backlog and zero discipline. I’m a 19-year-old dev, coded XamTable to be the digital invigilator I never had. It’s built on Loss Aversion—the psychological fact that humans work harder to avoid a loss than to achieve a gain.

Built an accountability agent that tracks user activity so I don't procrastinate. Thought showing a fun simulation of the usability of the app on the web would be cool. Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

I have used a lot of habit-tracking apps and most of them are filled with features that are not useful to me, sometimes UI is a mess etc. I wanted to build an app that was simple and useful. I wasn't sure about GPT ability but wanted to give it a try. There was a lot of trial and error, especially in figuring out the logic of the streak counter, which took a lot of time. I have spent some time polishing the UI as well. Although not a perfect app, I think I have a good tracker. I am planning to add more features and would love to know your thoughts and feedback. Thanks

Hello. I was looking for a simple and clean habit tracker. I went through a few apps but felt they were missing something. I also had some time on my hands, so decided to make my own and share it in case anyone else likes it. Some of the supported features: Streaks based, track and beat your longest streaks Fully free no ads Embed to your notion Analytics graph, chart, and other For anyone curious about the tech stack: - ViteJS for frontend - Netlify for hosting Link: [https://habitfast.netlify.app/ref/HN]

    Habit-tracking app with GitHub-style grids2024 · getchecker.app · ▲11

Hi HN! After ~9 months of development, I published my very first app to the App Store. It's called Checker, a habit/goal-tracking app that uses GitHub-style calendar grids to visualize your progress. It's relatively simple for now but I'll be adding quite a few features in the coming months, like board color themes, Apple Health integration, more widget styles, etc. Hope you give it a try, and if you do, please let me know if you have any feedback.

With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
