Give your AI agent a budget, not your keys

YSI launched on January 21, 2026 with 2 votes, #6,591 of 14,584 launches that month.

What it does

AI agents need to spend money, but you can't just hand over your keys. YSI adds spending limits, approvals, and audit logs to crypto wallets, so agents can transact autonomously without draining your treasury. Built on Safe Protocols. Free tier available."

Set spending limits, approval workflows, and audit trails for your AI agents. YSISafe adds financial controls so autonomous agents can spend without losing human oversight.

Hi guys, am building SecureLend.ai and when working on our underwriting agents (free trial, paid after) I had issues with seamless payment options. Of course I looked at x402 which I believe is a great protocol but not a fan of a) sharing private keys with the agent b) having a human in the loop or c) similar workaround e.g. pre-funded wallets So I started building out a solution. For my use case it was important to not only have stablecoins but also a fiat rail which is now implemented using Stripe. Initially I build a mandate system internally but am very glad and big shoutout to the guys…

I’ve been experimenting with AI agents lately, and one problem kept coming up: they either get a raw API key with full access or nothing at all. That’s risky, especially if you’re testing agents that can make arbitrary calls. So I hacked together a tiny package called Kage Keys - https://github.com/kagehq/keys It lets you wrap agent actions with scoped, short-lived tokens instead of handing over your real API keys. Example: ```js import { withAgentKey, getLogs } from "@kagehq/keys"; async function main() { await withAgentKey("github:repos.read", async () => {…

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
